This time the women’s lawn bowls four’s team has created history in the tournament. They became the first Indian team to win a gold in this particular sport.
The Indian team consisting of Lovely Choubey, Pinki, Nayanmoni Saikia, and Rupa Rani Tirkey stood firm against all odds to win the first ever medal for India.
