Aaron Phangiso: Biography, Background and Achievements

Aaron Mpho Phangiso is an international South African cricketer. He was born on 21 January 1984 and plays for Northern cricket team. He specializes in slow left-arm orthodox bowling. His bowling skills have gained him so much attention in the world of cricket. Aaron’s dedication to the sport and his consistent performance have made him a dependable player in both domestic and international cricket. 

Career

Phangiso was known for his amusing bowling technique and he played in all formats. His dedication to the sport made him different from others. He earned a promotion to the franchise team, the Lions. In the 2015 World Cup, Phangiso participated in the South Africa squad but did not get the chance to play. 

In August 2017, Phangiso received a significant opportunity when he was named in Bloem City Blazers’ squad for the inaugural season of the T20 Global League. This selection marked a promising turn in his cricketing career, offering him a platform to showcase his skills. But there came a twist of fate, South Africa made an unexpected announcement in October 2017. They postponed the tournament until November 2018. Later, the tournament was canceled, leaving many disappointments. 

Phangiso made his debut in international cricket in December 2012, against New Zealand in a T20 match. His determination made it easy for him to showcase his abilities as a bowler.
