Liverpool joins the highest goal tally club in a single match after their sensational 9-0 win over Bournemouth in the premier league.

The Scousers have finally won their first match of the season in style. Jurgen Klopp’s side put nine past the net against the cherries as they made sure no stones are left unturned after the ‘’false start’’ to the new premier league season. Liverpool had previously drawn two and lost  one which was not something the fans desired.

After the poor start to the season it was stated that klopp’s men were too lethargic and their attack was affected since the departure of Sadio Mane to Bayern Munich. However the English side ran a riot at Anfield this afternoon against the newly promoted Bournemouth side . The Scousers had to bounce back after their loss against the red devils on Monday. The vast injury list of Liverpool couldn’t be unseen still the reds gave their doubters the answer in the best way possible. FPL managers who had Liverpool attackers would be over the moon with the victory.  On the other hand the cherries have enjoyed their promotion for a short period as they only cherished their win against aston villa but then got thrashed by manchester city , arsenal and liverpool.

Liverpool equals the biggest win in premier league history

The highest goal tally record has previously been achieved by Leicester city against the saints ,twice by Manchester United against Ipswich and Southampton .Liverpool scored some early goals which helped them with a comfortable victory.

Jurgen klopp’s side has 7 goalscorers in their side this afternoon. Luis diaz turned up for the occasion as he bags a brace , Elliot after a breathtaking curled shot from out of the box which was also his first in top flight. Firmino also ends his 20 game goal drought by scoring a brace alongside Virgil Van dijk’s towering header from the corner. Trent Alexander arnold struck the ball as if he had dynamites in his boots. The reds have had a total of 19 shots out of which 12 were on target and nine ended up being in the back of the net. Jurgen’s side could be disappointed as well because they could’nt hit double figures in the premier league which could have been a cherry over the cake. It just wasn’t Mo Salah’s day as he couldn’t find himself on the scoresheet after missing some open chances.
