According to widespread reports in the French media, Paris Saint Germain are going to complete the signing of the Napoli midfielder Fabian Ruiz in a day or two. The Ligue 1 side were determined to sign a midfielder before the transfer window closes and in order to make that happen they had many targets out of which Bernardo Silva was the priority.
They submitted a bid of around 70 Million Euros for Silva to Manchester City, however Guardiola’s team rejected this bid stating that the Portuguese playmaker is irreplaceable in their squad. So instead of signing him, they turned their attention to the Spaniard Fabian Ruiz.

But this rumour wasn’t new cause it’s been reported for several weeks that PSG’s coach Christophe Galtier was interested to bring him into his squad. And now it seems that his wish to bring him is very close as the very reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano claims that the personal terms have already been agreed between Ruiz and PSG.
Fabian Ruiz likely to join PSG
It is also believed that the 26-year-old will sign a contract for 5 years with Paris which will bring his time at Napoli to an end after he played for them for 4 years. But his departure from Naples won’t be a surprise as the Spanish international had already rejected a contract renewal with the Italian side a few months ago. He is also yet to play his first minutes in the new season as in the first 3 games, he was benched all the time.
Meanwhile, Tanguy Ndombele has arrived at Napoli to reinforce the club’s midfield and potentially solve their problems and improve their results. Fabian Ruiz would be leaving the club after playing very well cause during his spell, he scored 22 goals he provided 15 assists across 166 appearances and he is a player that will certainly be tough to replace.
Now that is joining PSG, it is highly likely that he could win trophies there but if he would get the game time is very doubtful. He’ll have to beat the likes of Verrati, Draxler, Danilo and many more to be in the starting lineup. All in all, Fabian has a big challenge on his hands,
