Pro Kabaddi League: Guman Singh’s super 10 helps U Mumba beat Tamil Thaliva 39-32

The first match of the tripple Panga was played between U Mumba and Tamil Thaliva. It was a close encounter where Mumbai was able to pip their adversary by just 7 points.

Having lost their first game against Dabang Delhi, Mumbai is making a slow comeback. They beat UP Yoddha in their second encounter. And now have registered their second victory on the bounce to announce their comeback.

Guman Singh claims another super 10

A lot of credit to their win will go to their ace raider Guman Singh who scored 12 points against Tamil Thalivas. The ex-Patna Pirate raider had a field day against the Thalivas, as he scored all his points in the form of touch.

Tamil Thaliva started the game shoulder to shoulder with their Western adversary. However, they couldn’t match the raiders from the opposite side.

In the game of raiders, the Thalivas came in second with just 20 points from their raids. Although their defenders squeesed in 7 points, it was not enough.

U Mumba on the other hand had 28 points from raiding alone. Their defense didn’t turn up for the day. But the raiders made sure that they made up for the efforts in raiding.

As a result, U Mumba registered a win by 7 points.

It was not a good day for Thalivas as they suffer their second defeat for the season. But they too will be happy with the solitary point.

Another positive for them from this game will be Narender Hoshiyas who picked up 15 points for his team.
