Pro Kabaddi: Bharat scores super 10, Saurabh Nandal claims high five as Bengaluru Bulls beat Tamil Thalivas by 40-34

In another encounter of Rivalry Week in Vivo Pro Kabaddi Bengaluru Bulls took on Tamil Thaliva in a fierce encounter.

It was a battle between two teams of southern region that housed two of the most efficient raiders of the season.

Bharat Hooda was up against young sensation Narender Kandola. But there was another star who shot to fame in this game. And his name is Saurabh Nandal.

Bright start by Saurabh Nandal in first half

The right corner for Bengaluru Bulls has had showcased strong holding skills throughout this season. He put up another great show against Tamil Thalivas to help his team on to a good start.

The Tamil Thalivas have redeemed themselves this season and a huge credit for that goes to Narender who has been in phenomenal form.

But Saurabh Nandal showed that he is not a mug either. And benched Narender twice in the first 10 minutes of the game. This helped Bengaluru Bulls inflict an all out on Thalivas within 5 minutes of the game.

The Chennai based franchise however made a comeback towards the halfway mark. And ended the first half leading with a solitary point as both teams changed court at 19-18.

Bharat comes to rescue

Bengaluru Bulls are known as the team of second half. And they showed it once again by making a strong comeback in the game.

This time it was Bharat Hooda who made it possible. His exemplary raiding skills helped Bengaluru inflict the second all out on Thalivas. This time they did it within 8 minutes of the season half.

In the mean time Bharat also completed his 9th super 10 for the season and went past Maninder on the table for highest raid point scorer for the season.

Saurabh Nandal continued his great performance and picked up a high-five in style. He once again dismissed Narender Kandola, for a third time, to reach the feat.

Narender himself managed to bag a super 10, but couldn’t help his team win the game.

Bengaluru Bulls won the game by 40-34 and Tamil Thalivas walked away with a consolation point.

With this victory Bengaluru Bulls become the table toppers for the season. They have now gone 2 points clear at the top leaving behind Puneri Paltan.
