“I have never heard of him!” Cristiano Ronaldo on Ralf Rangnick in earth-shattering interview

The 37-year-old has made headlines once more, but this time for the wrong reasons.

Piers Morgan, a British broadcaster, released a bombshell on media platforms with a promo of an exclusive unfiltered and uncensored clip with Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo. Cris has spent the majority of his second spell at Manchester United on the bench, ever since Ole was fired and replaced by Ralf Ragnick.

Cristiano Ronaldo slams Ralf Rangnick

A move the 37-year-old did not like. Ronaldo has told The Sun: “If you’re not even a coach, how are you going to be the boss of Manchester United? I’d never even heard of him.”

Rangnick failed to produce a top-four finish and Champions League qualification, therefore Ten Hag took over in the summer. Another rebuilding project is now underway, according to Ronaldo, who claims that United has stalled since Sir Alex Ferguson resigned in 2013.

The interim coach didn’t last long and was sent back to Germany. The fans’ screams of frustration were deafening, as Cristiano was frequently seen dissatisfied and unmotivated by the way the club was governed by the owners.

The appointment of Erik Ten Hag (ETH) appeared to have resurrected Ronaldo’s broken relationship, but it has now strained further as Ronaldo and ETH have clearly fallen out.

He declined to come on as a substitute in the dying stages of a game against Tottenham, and he was left out of United’s match against Chelsea.

Ronaldo’s earth shattering words on Erik Ten Hag

Ronaldo has stated that he has lost all respect for Erik Ten Hag and that his exit is imminent.

He added: The progress was zero. Since Sir Alex left, I saw no evolution in the club. Nothing had changed. He [Ferguson] knows better than anybody that the club is not on the path they deserve to be. He knows. Everyone knows. The people who don’t see that… it’s because they don’t want to see.

“They are blind. I think the fans should know the truth. I want the best for the club. This is why I come to Manchester United. But you have some things inside that don’t help (us) reach the top level as City, Liverpool and even now Arsenal. A club with this dimension should be top of the tree in my opinion and they are not unfortunately.”

After a summer of uncertainty about his future, Ronaldo has continued to create headlines for the amount of time he has spent on United’s bench this season.

He also refused to come on as a substitute against Tottenham, and a January move from Old Trafford now appears to be a foregone conclusion.
