Manchester United in Post-Ferguson era
To some extent Ronaldo is right. The football club has seen some decline following the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson in 2013.
Under the legendry manager they never went trophy less for more than 3 seasons. They had an impenetrable home record under Sir Alex.
And since his departure they have failed to win any trophy in the domestic circuit. Their last trophy overall came in the year 2017 under José Muorinho.
Even currently they are 5th on league standings and looking nonthreatening in the league. While in the Europa league they are set to face FC Barcelona in the knockout game after the FIFA World Cup 2022.
