There is a huge development taking place in the UP Yoddhas’ camp. It has been reported that they have made a mid-season signing in the form of Sandeep Narwal.
The Pro Kabaddi league is reaching its midway point and UP Yoddha are trailing on the table and have decided to do something about. This leads to the mid-season signing.
The team however has not made any clarification over the reason behind the signing. But the lack of good defenders in the team can be a big reason to make the move.
UP Yoddhas bolster their squad mid season by signing Sandeep Narwal
Sandeep Narwal has been a phenomenal layer over the years in Pro Kabaddi League. He started his journey in the tournament with Patna Pirates and went on to represent Telugu Titans, Puneri Paltan and U Mumba.
Last season he played with UP Yoddhas. It was not his best season by far. He represented the team in 24 games and could only manage to score a total of 64 points. Out of which 26 came in raiding and 38 in defense.
This below par performance from the big man resulted in no team wanting to sign him in PKL 9. However, he is not someone who can be kept away from the game for long. Hence, he is back and must be rearing to go after the snub.
