Sadio Mane who was injured a week ago with Bayern caused massive fear for Senegal fans as there were widespread reports in the media that their captain won’t represent their nation at the FIFA World Cup which is going to begin on 20th September.

However, the African champions have announced their 26-man roster today and by a miracle of recovery, Sadio Mane makes the squad list and he will be going to the World Cup.

Senegal are surely the underdogs of the competition cause although they’ll have the Netherlands in their group, they just won the African Cup of Nations in earlier this year which clearly states that they do have the potential of pulling off a shock result. So it would be interesting to watch them as a team.
