The FIFA World Cup is just around the corner as the biggest sporting competition in the world will begin on 20th November in Qatar. Hence, the national teams that have qualified for the tournament must submit their 26 man squad list by this weekend and today the dark horses of the Cup Netherlands have announced their roster.
Louis Van Gaal would be going into his second World Cup s a coach as tie out he took his nation to the semi-finals at the 2014 Cup, only losing on penalties against Argentina. So this time out he has the chance to redeem himself by winning the tournament and ending Netherlands’ bad luck cause they are a team who have played 3 World Cup finals and are yet to win a single time.
This time out he has been controversial in his selections as he left out the likes of Ryan Gravenberch and Sven Botman and instead of them he took Xavi Simons and Luuk De Jong. Hence, he’ll have the obligation to prove that he has selected the right team and demolish all his critics. But still, the Dutch have a good squad.
