Pro Kabaddi: Rahul Chaudhari completes 1000 raid points, Sunil Kumar joins 250 tackle point club

Jaipur Pink Panthers’ fan had triple rejoice on Monday night as their team registered an impressive win over Dabang Delhi by 5 points.

This win ensured that they stayed well intact in the top half of the table. But also brought them back to winning ways in season 9 of PKL.

Apart from the team’s performance as whole, there were some personal milestones achieved by their star players like Sunil Kumar and Rahul Chaudhari.

Record shattering night for Rahul Chaudhari and Sunil Kumar

Firstly, it was a great night out for Rahul Chaudhari who played second fiddle to Arjun Deshwal. Rahul might have scored just 6 points for the night. But with this number he was able to complete his 1000 points in the tournament.

Rahul Chaudhari is a veteran raider who has played every season of the tournament. He was the top raider for nearly 7 seasons until Pardeep Narwal overtook him.

Rahul might have never won the prestigious title of Top raider for a season. But he definitely is the most consistent raider of all times.

Secondly, it was Sunil Kumar who reached 250 tackle points in the history of Pro Kabaddi League. With this he joins the Elite group of 250 tackle point scorers. A group that proudly boasts of some of the greats of the game like Manjeet Chillar and Sandeep Narwal.

Jaipur Pink Panthers thrashed their opponents 40-45 in the game. A great super 10 by Arjun Deshwal and joint defense of Sunil Kumar and Ankush powered them home.
