Wolves Confirm Pablo Sarabia Signing For €5m From PSG

Wolves have confirmed their brand-new signing of the January transfer window, that is, they have signed the Spanish player Pablo Sarabia from Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain.

The Spanish international has made his move to Wolves for a fee of €5m (£4.4m), and the contract would keep the former-PSG player at Wolves for two-and-a-half-years. Sarabia has already agreed on personal terms and undergone his medical on Tuesday.

Wolves Sign Sarabia from PSG

Wolves have made this announcement right before their FA Cup clash against Liverpool, in which Sarabia would be on the sidelines watching the performance of his future home.

However, Sarabia could make his debut for Wolves in an away match played against Manchester City on Sunday in their Premier League clash.

The 30-year-old Spanish international had captained the Spain U-19 squad and was also the part of Spain’s disastrous campaign in the 2022 World Cup.

Sarabia has made a total of 89 appearances for the Parisian club and has aided them in winning two Ligue 1 trophies. However, he had spent all of the previous season at Sporting Lisbon on loan.

After the signing of Mario Lemina from Nice and Matheus Cunha from Atletico Madrid, this will be Wolves’ third transfer deal in the January window.

Wolves are currently ranked 16th in the Premier League table, slightly missing the relegation zone. With this latest signing Julen Lopetegui would look to make some necessary adjustments to his current squad.

Sarabia could become the key player to provide the much-needed momentum to Wolves, as he is an experienced forward with an impressive record in scoring, and right now, goals are exactly what Wolves need the most this season.
