Tottenham Hotspur have finally reached a final full agreement with Sporting Lisbon and have completed the signing of Pedro Porro before the closing of the January window.
Spurs have been rumoured to be in contact with the 22-year-olf through the entire January since Antonio Conte has shown strong desire to strengthen his squad’s right-back position.

However, Sporting Lisbon has been continuously adamant that they would only be accepting offers which match Porro’s release clause of €45m, payment terms (£39.5m) and nothing less than that.
And due to that there had been many ups and downs in this move, with it even being rumoured to have collapsed once after Sporting had withdrawn from their verbally agreed terms with Tottenham.
According to the transfer experty Fabrizio Romano, the transfer is back full fledged on the track and the deal has finally been completed after both clubs reached a full agreement after a very long meeting.
Pedro Porro wanted Tottenham Move
The North London club would be meeting Porro’s release clause as the €45m payment terms for him have been finally approved after Porro had made sure that he only wanted a Spurs move.
Fabrizio has added that Spurs have eagerly rescheduled the medical tests for the player due on Tuesday and Porro will travel to London tomorrow with his agents to complete these medical tests as a new Tottenham Hotspur player as all paperwork is completed.
Porro will become the second signing coming from Tottenham Hotspur in this January transfer window after the signing of Arnaut Danjuma on loan from Villarreal for the remainder of the season.
Pedro Porro made statements on leaving Sporting that, “I’m grateful to Sporting, I love the club. I didn’t train as I was only focused on the transfer to Spurs but I will always be thankful to the club”.
