Suryakumar Yadav was on fire in the ongoing second T20I against New Zealand, scoring a century off just 49 balls. Suryakumar rejoiced lavishly as soon as he reached the landmark. Suryakumar’s second T20I century follows his debut in the shorter format earlier this year against England.

Suryakumar Yadav came out to bat in the seventh over of the innings and began playing smashes right away.  The batsman demonstrated throughout the innings why he is ranked first in the T20I rankings.

The right-handed batter was the finest in the just-finished T20 World Cup, in which India advanced to the semi-finals. He was able to go after the bowling right away, and Suryakumar Yadav smashed three half-centuries during the competition.

Suryakumar Yadav smacked 11 fours and 7 sixes against New Zealand. In the end, he was unbeaten on 111 off 51 balls. He had reached his half-century in 32 balls.

In the end, his knock contributed to Team India’s total of 191/6 in 20 overs. Tim Southee also got a hat trick for New Zealand.

Earlier, Kane Williamson had won the toss and elected to bowl first.
