The inaugural season of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2023 has been full of ups and downs for Smriti Mandhana-led Royal Challengers Bangalore. Out of the six matches that RCB have played so far, they have only been able to win one. Nonetheless, Australian veteran all-rounder Ellyse Perry has put on huge smiles on RCB fans.
Their latest game was against UP Warriorz where the Smriti Mandhana-led side registered their first victory of the season. Kanika Ahuja was the star of the game, as her knock of 46 runs was integral to RCB’s run chase.

How Can RCB Qualify for Playoffs?
To begin with, the team will have to win their remaining two games and then hope that UP loses the rest of their fixtures. In addition to this, they will also have to maintain a healthy run-rate, particularly superior to that of Gujarat. If Gujarat win two of their remaining three games, both teams will arrive at the same number of points and NRR will decide who races ahead to the playoffs.
