PSG to submit a bid of 70 Million Euros for Rashford

PSG interested in signing Machester United's Marcus Rashford

The Marcus Rashford saga has been going on for the past few weeks as it is widely reported in the English media that Paris Saint Germain are heavily interested to sign the England International. And this transfer is majorly backed by the new Sporting director Luis Campos of the Ligue 1 side.

It is believed in France that Campos has already held talks with the winger’s agents in order to find a way to bring him to the Parisian club. And the 24-year-old is open to the move. Especially after considering playing with the likes of Messi, Neymar and Mbappe that no player in the world would turn down.

PSG interested in Rashford

PSG are willing to offer 70 Million Euros in order to sign the player.

But Rashford has had the worst footballing season in his career in the last Premier League campaign. Despite giving his best efforts, Rashford scored just 4 goals in 25 appearances for the Red Devils. This goal tally was 1 less than his debut campaign when he was just 18 years old and had managed to score 5 times in just 11 League games.

So this clearly shows the downfall of the winger. His form has been in constant decline since the Euro 2021 where he missed a crucial penalty in the final. And latter suffered multiple injuries, which hampered his comeback.

Despite his poor season, he’s likely to be a regular starter under Ten Hag as he has already played full 90 minutes in the first 2 matches and this is because the coach doesn’t have a lot of options.

The winger has just 1 year remaining on his contract at Old Trafford, but the club could extend it by a single year. However, if he joins PSG he could have a fresh start in his career and the move could benefit him a lot as the French Champions are planning to play him in his preferred position which is as a striker.

So this deal could help Rashford a lot and if he manages to thrive in it, he might even make the World Cup squad which is about to happen later this year. All in all, it would be interesting to see how this transfer saga develops.
