“Nobody Leaves, Nobody arrives,”Carlo Ancelotti Confirms Real Madrid’s January Transfer Window Plans

La Liga champions, Real Madrid will apparently not be emptying their pockets to defend their title and just side by, Carlo Ancelotti has shown full confidence that no one will be leaving the Santiago Bernabeu as well.

Real Madrid have been very hushy and quite on the matters of recruitments and transfer prior to and during the 2022-23 season. Tchouameni being the only addition to their squad elaborately before the season started.

However, Perez has done no business during the January transfer window. This is apparently due to the fact that Ancelotti wants his squad to remain intact despite the Blancos having slipped five below their nemesis Barcelona in their race to the title.

On being asked about Real Madrid’s plans about the approaching end of the January transfer window and yet no arrivals and departures being made, Ancelotti has told the reporters than it is “closed” in every aspect, both in the terms of players coming in and exiting the club.

After dropping two more points against Real Sociedad with a 0-0 draw, Real are struggling to catch up and yet, Ancelotti has managed to remain optimistic about continuing with the same squad.

Ancelotti added further that if they got a win on Thursday, they would be picking up more points than they did last year in January. He also talked about their arch-rivals, Barcelona, saying that Xavi’s side is doing very well but it was a long season.

Ancelotti went on to praise his squad saying that they have improved a lot in all areas, such as attack, defense, and physical side. He also mentioned that some injured players were supposed to be coming back this week as well and that they were confident about the coming months.

Real Madrid as all set for their clash against Valencia on upcoming Thursday. They also have another worry in form of the Club World Cup in Morocco approaching soon, as the reigning European Champions.
