Manchester United Finish André Onana Signing from Inter Milan

After a long period of uncertainty about the unsure future about the gloves of Premier League giants, Manchester United, they have finally ended the saga of havoc as they have officially completed the signing of goalkeeper straight from Italian Serie A club Inter Milan, André Onana.

André Onana signs for Manchester United until 2028

The Cameroonian international has joined the Red Devil after reportedly agreeing to a contract worth around 55 million euros. The goalkeeper had previously aided Inter Milan to a victorious Serie A title back in 2022 and into the finals of the Champions League in 2023 against Pep Guardiola led Manchester City.

The 27-year-old’s contract with the Red Devils will keep him tied to the Old Trafford for five-long-years until 2028 with an option to extend his stay upon completion, while he gets reunited with his previous manager from Ajax, Erik ten Hag, who came very close to providing United with the Premier League title this season.

Manchester United sign André Onana to replace David de Gea

Andre Onana will join a squad led by Erik ten Hag, who aided in ending Manchester United’s six-year-long trophy drought this season when his team thrashed Newcastle United in a 2-0 resultant match and went on to lift the Carabao Cup in Wembley.

The Cameroonian goalkeeper will be replacing the club legend David de Gea at Manchester United who had finally left the Old Trafford after a super-long spell with the club as his contract expired without any renewal this summer itself. David de Gea remained with the Red Devils for 12 years.

According to the latest reports, Onana will be joining his brand new squad mates as soon as all formalities are completed, and if insiders are to be believed, Ten Hag is said to be hoping that Onana will be a part of the pre-season United squad to tour the United States.
