However, Cancelo made statements to clear up the air in his first press conference as a Bayern Munich player. Cancelo said that his reason behind leaving the Ethiad was his reduced playtime in the recent week, and that he wanted to play more.
Cancelo said that what influenced his decision to leave was that he did not have much gametime in the last few weeks and clarified that it did not have anything to do with Pep Guardiola.
