Thomas Tuchel

Thomas Tuchel has finally spoken out on him being sacked as a Chelsea manager and admits that he was left gutted and heartbroken after the harsh decision by the Club.

Tuchel’s Time at the Club

The German coach was sacked by the premier league side last week , Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea reign ended with a 1-0 European defeat in the Champions league against Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb. The German manager was hanging by a thread before the clash as he wasn’t that doing well in the league with six games played 3 won one drawn and two lost. The decision was harsh for the Ex PSG man as he had been sacked only after 7 games, surely the Champions league defeat was the last straw for the club.

Thomas did well at the club as he won the Champions league and the Club world cup with the squad. Thomas had a long term project plan at the club but his time was over at the club before anyone expected.

The German Coach’s Statement

This is one of the most difficult statements I have ever had to write – and it is one which I hoped I would not need to do for many years. I am devastated that my time at Chelsea has come to an end”, he wrote. “ This is a club where I felt at home, both professionally and personally. Thank you so much to all the staff , the players and the supporters for making me feel very welcome from the start”

“ The pride and joy I felt at helping the team to win the Champions League and the Club World Cup will stay with me forever. I am honoured to have been a part of this club’s history and the memories of the last 19 months will always have a special place in my heart.”

The German’s Successor at the Club

After the Champions league winner’s time at the club was over, former Brighton manager Graham Potter had penned a five year long term contract with the Blues. The Blues have paid a 22 million to replace the german at the Stamford Bridge.
