Hakim Ziyech’s Loan Deal From Chelsea to PSG on Verge of Collapse; Clubs Scampering to Find Solution

Hakim Ziyech’s publicized transfer to Ligue 1 giants, Paris Saint-Germain is in shambles on the deadline day of January transfer window after Chelsea allegedly sent wrong documents.

Ziyech had earlier arrived in the French capital to complete his medical and paperworks after PSG and Chelsea reached an agreement for his loan transfer with no buy option included.

However, in a shocking turn of events, the deal broke down and fell off after Chelsea reportedly sent some incorrect documents to the Parisian club on three different occasions, later than they were needed, this led to some serious drama on the deadline day of the January transfer window.

According to Fabrizio Romano, even when the correct necessary documents did manage their way into the hands of PSG, it was too late and the deadline for the transfer had already passed without Ziyech’s contract registered or validated.

PSG to lodge appeal to FA for Ziyech deal

Romano had also stated that since the deal was currently off, Paris Saint-Germain were now getting ready to lodge an appeal to the French football governing body regarding this matter.

The Dutch international was being chased by the Parisian club in order to add more depth to their attacking front after Pablo Sarabia had departed to Wolverhampton Wanderers earlier this January.

Ziyech was excited to join his Moroccan teammate Achraf Hakimi at the club front too but now he is left in a limbo after the transfer havoc as the deal currently stands off.
