It’s gameweek 6 in the UEFA Champions League and this time it’s a match in Group B that could potentially decide who could finish at the top of the group and also whether Atletico Madrid will play Europa League football or not as the Portuguese giants FC Porto will host Diego Simeone’s team at the Estadio Do Dragao.

Last time out, when the La Liga side faced Leverkusen at the Wanda Metripolitano, they got held back by the German team after a last minute penatly miss from Yannick Carrasco and that miss knocked Atletico out of the Champions League.

So in this game they know that a win in Portugal will surely send the to the Europa League irrespective of the result in the other group B match of Leverkusen and Brugge.

However, beating Porto won’t be that easy cause they are a team who have won their last 3 UCL matches with the most recent one coming against group leaders Club Bruuge as they demolished them 4-0.

Sergio’s side know that they have to win this game in order to have any chance to finish at the top of the group as they’ll be hoping the Brugge doesn’t manage to beat Leverkusen. All in all, it’s all to play for on the final matchday.
