One of the best strikers in the footballing era is going to join the La Liga side Valencia this season and that striker is none other than Edinson Cavani. The transfer has already been completed as Valencia announced the signing on Monday and the striker was even present to watch their recent match.
Cavani is joining the team as a free agent after his spell at Manchester United got over after 2 years as the Red Devils decided not to renew him. Earlier in the summer the forward was likely to go to Uruguay and play for his childhood club but because of the World Cup coming in a few months, he decided to play in Europe and play at the top level so that his form remains intact.

Real Sociedad were also in the race to sign Cavani as they sold their star striker Alexander Isak to Newcastle for a fee which was worth around 70 Million Euros and when they got the money it was very likely that they would go all out to sign Edinson.
But the striker chose Valencia and this clearly shows his desire to play for the club and Gennaro Gattuso who is the coach of Valencia was a key part in this deal as heconvinced the Uruguayan to sign for them. But this is a risk signing for the La Liag side as the forward is 35 years old but if he can get back to his best he can surely perform like Lewandowksi and Benzema who are also around 35 but are scoring a lot of goals.
