Bharat Naresh is a 24 year old raider who hails from India. He is a very aggressive raider who can play from both left and right sides of the court.

Currently the player is associated with Bengaluru Bulls in Pro Kabaddi Season 9. He is among the leading raid point scorers this season. And a strong contender to win the title of most successful raider of the season.

Bharat Naresh Hooda in PKL 8

Bharat broke out on the big stage during the season 8 of Pro kabaddi league. He was bought by Bengaluru Bulls for 10 lakhs, after his immaculate performance in K7 Kabaddi league.

And the player only built on his previous display of form.

In the first season with his team, Bharat Hooda played 23 games for his side and picked up a hefty amount of 123 points. Out of which, 115 points came while raiding and 14 in tacking.

This means that Bharat Hooda can also play the role of a defender if his team requires him to.

“Bharat is good. He scored two tackle points and also scored raid points at crucial moments. Now you guys will not get a chance to say that the team entirely relies on Pawan. He is not alone, everyone gets a chance in this team. I am very happy with Bharat’s performance,” coach Randhir Singh Sehrawat of Bengaluru Bulls said, lauding the raider.

Bharat Hooda has had a great tournament in the PKL9. His start was empathic in which he scored a total of 81 points in just 9 games, making him the top scorer of that time. Although with time he got some serious competition from Arjun Deshwal.

Bharat became the first raider of the season to score 10 super 10s and complete 150 points as well. He also went on to become the top raider to score 200 and 250 points in the tournament.

He was that one raider that his team looked up to whenever they were in need. And an example of the same comes in the game against Dabang Delhi. Bengaluru was trailing from a huge margin, and Bharat Hooda rescued them by scoring a total of 23 raid points in the game.

It was at the back of great performances by Bharat Hooda that Bengaluru Bulls was able to triumph in the tournament’s league stages.

However, they had to suffer a humiliating defeat against Jaipur Pink Panthers in the semifinals by a hefty margins of 20 points.

Bharat however was awarded the award of Best Raider of PKL9 for his prolific performance throughout the tournament.
