Aryna, a dynamic tennis player currently ranked No. 5 as of January 2023, started her love journey with Koltsov in June 2021. The love for sports in both the players made them close together. Koltsov is a former ice hockey player who competed in the Olympic games. 

Aryna came into playing tennis when she was six years old. She made a mark in the ITF circuit in Belarus in 2012. Her first Grand Slam Semi-Final at Wimbledon in 2021, and her third Grand Slam Semi-Final at the USA Open in 2022. However, she faced a setback when Russian and Belarusian players were stopped from competing in any tournaments in the UK, as announced by the All England Club and Lawn Tennis Association in April 2022.

Despite all the challenges that came Aryna’s way, she secured her first Grand Slam Women’s Singles title at the Australian Open on Jan 28, 2023. Notably, Aryna became the first player to achieve this feat, competing under a neutral flag.

In an interview with the Women’s Tennis Association, Aryna once said, “I’m like two different persons on the court and off court. Because on the court … I need to be focused and serious to show my best on the court and play my best game. But off the court, I’m trying to be relaxed, like smiling, and laughing. Like a normal person.”

Who is Aryna Sabalenka Husband, Konstantin Koltsov?

On the other hand, Koltsov is a former professional Ice Hockey player. Koltsov has been into Ice Hockey for 18 years. He appeared in the IIHF World Championship and Winter Olympics in 2002 and 2010 for Belarus. Drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins for three seasons in 1999, Koltsov later played for the Kontinental Hockey League from 2008 to 2016. 

Koltsov is originally from Minsk, Belarus. It’s the same city Aryna was born in, according to her WTA profile. 

How Did the Aryna Sabalenka Met Konstantin Koltsov for The First Time?

Sources have claimed that Aryna and Konstantin have been together since 2021. Although, the specifics of how and where they met remain unknown to the tennis world. Their relationship became official on Instagram in June 2021, when Aryna shared a selfie of Koltsov kissing on her cheek as she smiled at the camera. 

“It’s good when there is someone who can understand my madness😅,” the tennis player wrote in the caption, adding, “But you won’t get bored with me, right @koltsov2021? 🤣❤️.”

Aryna and Koltsov Love Traveling Together

In the summertime of May 2022, Aryna and Koltsov explored Rome and Italy together. Aryna shared several pictures on her Instagram account, capturing the couple on the trip together, including a few pictures of the couple posing in front of the Coliseum and the Trevi Fountain and enjoying gelato together. 

The couple also visited the famous landmark Fort Lauderdale, Florida in July 2022. Aryna shared a picture of herself in a green bikini holding Koltsov’s hand and Koltsov wrapping his other hand around Aryna. “Having fun on the beach 🏝”, her caption said in the joint Instagram post.

Aryna was Engaged Before Him

Before coming together with Koltsov, Aryna was engaged to someone else, whose identity she never shared. The tennis player confirmed her engagement news in November 2019, by saying, “It’s just an engagement. I am a little bit against weddings, against it as an event like it is.”

For the fact, Aryna informed that her ex-fiance was not from Belarus, nor was her former coach Dmitry Tursunov, adding, “It’s not Tursunov (laughing). He is not from Belarus.”

Although Aryna Sabalenka and Koltsov don’t have kids together, Koltsov is a dad of three children, all the sons- Daniel, Alexander, and Stefan, all three from his previous relationship. 

In Dec 2022, Aryna hosted a Q&A on her Instagram story. In that session, a fan asked her, “Do you think you’ll be an amazing stepmother?” Replying to it, Aryna wrote “I don’t know … I guess yes” over a photo of a little boy kissing her face. She added, “Stefan loves me.”

Aryna also tagged Koltsov in the same picture of Stefen kissing her. 

Later, Aryna tagged Koltsov in another picture of her and Stefan in April 2023. She posted it on her Instagram story. The picture captured the boy holding Aryna’s hand in what appears to be a mall, with the caption, “Dinner was Good”.

Koltsov is Private on Social Media

Koltsov’s Instagram account is private, the former Ice Hockey player, while most of his appearances are in the pictures on Aryna’s account. 

In September, Aryna shared a romantic picture for her fans on Instagram. “Lucky me I have the best man in the world🌎 @koltsov2021,” she wrote in the caption, with several photos of bouquets Kltsov had delivered. “You make me happy every day!❤️❤️❤️.”

Aryna also posted a picture on Twitter in December 2022. The picture captured the couple sharing an intimate embrace while dressed in white, adding, “Love is in the air.” Later on the day, Aryna shared the same photo on Instagram writing, “Too much ❤️ Sorry had to post it again.”

On April 17, 2023, when Koltsov marked 42nd birthday, Aryna showed her love by sharing a video slideshow on Instagram. The post showcased some clips and photos of the time they spent together, including footage of the couple on a boat and at the gym.
