Transfer news: Barcelona and Inter Milan in race for Chelsea striker

Barcelona and Inter Milan set to fight for Chelsea star Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang in the coming transfer window. The former Barcelona star is set to make out of Chelsea squad as he seems to have fallen out of favor from Graham Potter’s contention of starting eleven.

Seems to be out of favor

Chelsea had decided to terminate Aubameyang’s contract after he was seen to celebrate in Barcelona’s dressing room after their famous El Clasico win. He had an impressive stint in the Catalan outfit in his tenure of six months, but was sold to Chelsea due to the financial crisis the club was in. But, unfortunately things did not go as planned and he is in his way to make out of the England club.

The Italians set to enter the transfer race

But, according to recent rumors, it is showing that Inter Milan are rivalling in the race to sign Aubameyang, along with Barcelona. Reports in Gazzetta dello Sport suggest that Inter would unlikely sign Romelu Lukaku, who comes from a hattrick against Sweden last night, and would replace him with the Gabonese striker. Lukaku might not be signed permanently by the “Nerazzuri” after his middling loan spell, as he is set to return to the London club.

It says that Chelsea was not happy with Aubameyang’s antics off the field and was reportedly upset when the striker went to celebrate Barcelona’s famous victory over Real Madrid, increasing the gap to 12 points. Auba is having a good relation with Xavi and board and he is set to explore his options about a potential return to Catalonia.
