It is now widely believed in the Spanish media that Portuguese side Sporting CP have agreed on terms with FC Barcelona for the loan deal of Hector Bellerin.
Sporting are mainly looking to sign Bellerin as he would be the replacement for Pedro Porro who is joining the Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur for a fee of around 45 Million Euros.

However, according to Portuguese reports, Hector wasn’t the first choice right-back option for Sporting as initially wanted to try and sign Brighton’s Tariq Lamptey on a loan deal but the Seagulls straight away refused to get into negotiations.
Hence, because of that, they turned thier attention to the Spaniard who is currently on the final year of his contract at Barca and because of his contract expiry, Sporting wanted to take advantage of that. as his future was uncertain either in this month or in the summer.
The Perfect Replacement for Pedro Porro
Bellerin joined Barca back in the summer of 2022 after his deal at Arsenal football club was terminated. But since his arrival, he hasn’t managed to find good form consistently and because of this, he couldn’t establish himself in the starting lineup of Xavi’s team.
And due to his poor performances, the coach made a decision to play Jules Kounde as a right back and this clearly states that neither the club nor Xavi have the intention to renew his contract.

But now due to this transfer to Sporting CP, Bellerin has the opportunity to revive his career and show the footballing world his true potential and skills. It is reported that the medicals would be completed by Monday and then Hector would formalize his move by signing the contracts. All in all, he is surely a gem of a signing for the Portuguese team.
