Rahkim Cornwall smash 205 in America T20 league; break world record for highest score
Rahkeem Cornwall has been in red hot form in the recently concluded CPL. And now he has blasted the one T20 record that nobody thought was possible. He scored a double century in the American T20 tournament.
With this inning he has become the highest scoring Individual in T20 cricket.
However, the highest score by an individual in T20 is not the only record that he broke last night.
Rahkim Conrwall plays blistering inning of 205 in American T20
Cornwall took just 77 deliveries to achieve this feat, which gave him a strike rate of 266. Furthermore, he smashed the greatest number of sixes in an inning 22. Along with 17 fours. As a result, 132 off his runs came in boundaries alone.
Cornwall’s team Atlanta fire hammered a total of 302 against Square Drive. He got some help in the form of 50s by his teammates Steven Taylor and Salim Aslam.
Cornwall’s 205 will however be an inning to remember for the years to come.
His immense contribution saw his team secure a huge defeat against their opponents. Square Drive were reduced to a total of 154/8 in their 20 overs.
