PSG want Wilfried Zaha as Lionel Messi’s replacement

PSG want Wilfried Zaha on a free transfer this summer to replace Messi up-front. Zaha will not sign a new deal with Crystal Palace, and will leave on a free transfer.

According to Le Parisien, PSG have made contacts with Zaha in the past few days. The Ivorian winger is attracting interest from Arsenal and Al-Nassr as well.

The French club wants a winger like Zaha, as they hold a strong admiration of the 30-year-old. But, the deal is far from done, as Al-Nassr are also keeping an eye and will offer him better wages.

However, PSG can offer Champions League football, and Zaha would like play in the Champions League at this stage of his career.

PSG were after Barcelona starlet Ousmane Dembele, as his contract was also expiring, but he will extend his contract with the Catalan club.

Luis Campos, PSG’s sporting director, has monitored Zaha closely and sees him as a game-changer. Campos believes that Zaha can bring the energy that PSG lacked in their attack throughout the season.

PSG want Wilfried Zaha, will he move to a top club?

Wilfried Zaha came through the youth system of Crystal Palace and made over 100 appearances for them, when they were in the Championship. Zaha moved from the Selhurst Park to Manchester United in 2013.

However, the move did not work out well for the Ivorian. He was loaned out to Cardiff City and back at Crystal Palace. Zaha then returned to his boyhood club permanently on deadline day in January 2015.

He has remained at Palace ever since and has played 458 games for them and scored 90 goals.

Since his return to Palace he was linked with a move to a top club. But, it never happened. However, this summer, he will move to a big club after he decided not renew with his boyhood club.
