Career

 Priya Punia’s cricketing career sparkled when she was chosen to don the Indian jersey in December 2018 for the series against New Zealand. Making her debut in Women’s Twenty20 International cricket (WT20I) against New Zealand Women in February 2019, she showcased her potential on the international stage. 

Following her impressive performance, she continued to excel and was later included in India’s Women’s One Day International (WODI) squad for the series against South Africa in September 2019. Her debut in WODI against South Africa further solidified her position in the team, establishing her as a promising talent in Indian cricket.

Achievements

Priya Punia’s journey in cricket has been marked by notable achievements and recognitions. In May 2021, she received a significant honor as she was named in India’s Test squad for their one-off match against the England women’s cricket team.
