Pawan Sehrawat is an Indian kabaddi Player. He was born on July 9, 1996 in Delhi to a farmer’s family. He completed his eduction at a Government School and went on to attend Delhi University, all for his mother’s desire for him to get the best education possible.

Pawan on the other hand had different aspirations; to become a Kabaddi player and represent his country in the sport. Hence, he did not give up on his dream and continued to pursue them while studying. It was during his trail for the team of Northern Railway that he was picked by coach Randhir Singh who helped him play Senior Nationals with Railways.

Soon, he was picked up the Bengaluru Bulls ahead of the 3rd season of the Pro Kabaddi League. And the rest, as they say, is history.

The prodigal youngster got his first chance in the season 3 and he did not disappoint anybody. So, without further delay let’s take a look at his season by season stats.

In his very first season with Bengaluru Bulls, Pawan made a name for himself. He was played in 13 out of 14 games that season and he did a eye catchy job by picking up 45 raid points and becoming one of the highest points taker that season. His good performance was acknowledged by the team and they decided to retain him for another season.

From today’s standards, Pawan’s performance in the season 4 of Pro kabaddi League can be considered as lackluster. He did not have a great time out instead could only muster to claim 11 raid points from 10 games he played.

One can argument that he did not have the best time out because his presence was shadowed by Rohit Kumar and Deepak Dahiya. Hence, Pawan only got 33 raids in the season and could only convert 8 out of them into successful ones and ended the season on a lower note.

The season 5 of the Pro Kabaddi League was the lowest point in the career of Pawan Sehrawat. For starters, his rate on the auction went down. And even when he was bought by Gujarat Giants, he couldn’t perform yet again.

In whole of season, Pawan could only muster to get 24 raids out of which he could only convert 5 into successful ones. Pawan’s season ended with 9 raid points from 9 games, along with a solitary tackle point.

When the chips were down, and Pawan had started to believe that he will not get another chance to play in the league, a hand from the past came to fetch him out of the darkness. Yes, you guessed it right, in the season 6 it was his former coach Randhir Singh, who asked him to return to Bengaluru Bulls.

Pawan Sehrawat knew that this would be his last chance to redemption and this time he played like it as well. In the 6th season Pawan went on a killing spree by amassing a whooping 271 raid points from just 24 games.

He started the season on a very high note by amassing 20 raid points in a single game against Tamil Thalivas. Then he went on to scoring 250 raid points in 375 raids in the entire season which included 11 super raids and 13 Super 10s in the season.

Pawan also had an average of 11.29 raid points per match and 77.33% not out rate. This was start of one of many phenomenal seasons that were about to follow for Pawan.

The Delhi boy continued his dominance in Bengaluru colours and produced another phenomenal season. This time he was on a record breaking spree, as he ended the domination of Pardeep Narwal in PKL.

Finally there was someone who could match the Patna captain stride to stride and his name was Pawan Sehrawat. The young raider accumulated 346 points while raiding and ended the season with a total of 360 points from just 24 games.

Pawan averaged 14.42 points per match in that season, as he scored 11 super raids and accumulated 18 super 10s as well. It was a well rounded performance by the youngster that season as he also broke the record of most points in a game, by picking up 39 points in a game against Haryana Steelers.

The Pro Kabaddi Season 8 was very fruitful for Pawan Sehrawat, as he continued his red hot form. It was the second season straight in which he scored 300+ raid points in the season. It was another one of those seasons where he managed to claim 18 super 10s and 6 super raids as well. Even his defending acumen were on point as he clinched 16 points in defense as well.
