Nicolo Zaniolo to sign for Galatasaray from AS Roma, know details

It is now widely believed in the Italian media that AS Roma and Galatasaray have agreed on a deal worth a total of 22 Million Euros for the transfer of the midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo.

The AS Roma star is set to join the Turkish giants on a 4-year deal and his contract includes a 35 Million Euros release clause along with a salary of 3.5 Million per season.

Zaniolo likely to join Galatasaray in Turkey

Nicolo was once one of the finest Italian talents and he had the potential to be one of the best midfielders to ever play the game, but he has failed to dominate this season.

Though he scored the winner for Roma in last year’s Europa Conference League final, his growth as a player has stagnated following consecutive ACL injuries.

This also shows that he is quite injury prone and Galatasaray needs to be careful with him cause he isn’t a player who could play every match but when he does he could certainly orchestrate the midfield.

Zaniolo wanted to leave Roma

He wanted to go to AC Milan but that did not happen as Milan were concerned about his recent form and injury records. Hence he now has found a way out and has the opportunity to redeem himself and show the footballing world the talent that he possesses.

If he manages to pull off some incredible performances during his time at the Turkish club, Milan could certainly come back in the summer transfer window and sign him by paying his release clause which isn’t exactly an astronomical value compared to today’s standards. All in all, it is reported that Nicolo has already completed his medicals and soon he’ll formalize his deal by signing the contract.
