In that season he was able to score 4 centuries, equaling the record of Kohli for most centuries in an IPL season. Along with the 4 fifties, that led his team to the final.

Shubman Gill – Gujarat Titans (2023)

One of the biggest reason behind Gujarat Titans success in the 2023 edition of Indian Premier League was Shubman Gill. The young stalwart of Indian cricket showcased the world his prowess in the shortest format of the game. And in the process of doing so became the most runs scorer for GT in an IPL season.

Gill scored a total of 851* runs in the season, cross the threshold of 730 runs, the second best of the season by Faf du Plessis. In doing so, Gill smashed 3 centuries and 5 half centuries. One of the feature of the season was his longevity.
