All is not well on the “French front”, as French and PSG superstar is gradually losing patience with his club as he has voiced his disagreement with the French champions. To add to this, Argentine superstar and World Cup winner Lionel Messi is also unlikely to stay with PSG, as speculations are looming of him joining his favorite club, FC Barcelona, among other options. In a nutshell, PSG board is not in a formidable position as both of their superstars are seemingly concerned about their future.
“It’s NOT Kylian Saint-Germain”
PSG’s disagreement with Mbappe reached an extreme level when the French wizard dropped a bomb on his social media handle, saying that PSG is a top club, but “not Kylian Saint-Germain” as the club was promoting 2023/24 campaign with Mbappe being everywhere, on their review sales and tickets.
The tweet clearly echoed his concern and increasingly impatient attitude as the club has underperformed in the biggest stage in spite of bagging the top players of the World. They have been consistently failing to advance more than quarters of the UEFA Champions League.
Other clubs monitoring the situation
While Mbappe is voicing his concerns and disagreements with PSG, other clubs are constantly monitoring the situation in case they try to swoop over the 2018 World Cup winner in the upcoming transfer window. Big guns like Real Madrid, with whom Mbappe has been linked earlier too is on the top list. They are observing the Mbappe-PSG saga from the sidelines. Mbappe was linked earlier to Real Madrid last summer but he made a surprising U-turn, renewing contract with PSG. But, since his contract keeps him at PSG up to 2024, the Spanish heavyweights would like to approach him once his contract ends next year.
