Mason Greenwood named in the 25 list squad for Manchester United despite being suspended
Manchester United’s Star Boy named in the 25 man squad list in the Premier League despite rape and assault allegations.
The Star Boy’s Period at the Club
The Red Devils are firm that Greenwood remains suspended from the squad despite he being in the list of U21 Manchester United players who can play for the club in the premier league.
However the academy player has not been included in the Europa league squad or the senior team squad for the 2022-23 season.
Greenwood’s last appearance for the club came on 22nd January this year against West ham in the premier league. The English youngster has bagged 35 goals in 129 appearance for the Red Devils.
United fans were astonished to see Mason Greenwood’s name on the 25 man squad list as they would not be expecting it. The Star Boy is said to not train or practice with the Premier league club until further notice.
The new squad release states Greenwood as their U21 forward for the 2022-23 season. United’s Official website does not allow the fans to purchase the NO.11 jersey that belongs to Greenwood.
The Story Behind the Striker’s bail
Mason’s bail was extended at a private hearing at Manchester and Salford Magistrates court in June , the United star was arrested in January when videos and photo’s of him were posted online by his own partner. Manchester United are still contractually bound to pay the English boy 75000 as weekly wages.
The 20 Year Old was expected to return to the squad back in April too
There were rumours regarding the return of the forward to the first team back in April too. One of the club’s spokesperson then explained saying “ There has been no change whatsoever in Mason’s status “ he added , “ we removed his profile from the club app soon after he was removed from the squad in January.“

United’s potential star boy is expected to be suspended after two continuous bails for alleged rape , assault and threat to kill despite being named in the under 21 squad for Man United. The investigation continues as the player cant play until further notice from the English Club.
