It’s the third round in the EFL Cup and this time out Premier League giants Manchester United will host their arch-rivals Aston Villa at Old Trafford. Both teams faced each other last weekend at the Villa Park and Villa pulled off a shock result as they demolished Erik Ten Hag’s men by a scoreline of 3-1.

And this was the first game in charge of Unai Emery as Aston Villa’s manager, so this clear states that Villa are back and now they have won a big game, hence they’ll look forward to continue on the winning momentum and beat United again in order to go through the fourth round of EFL Cup.

However, beating Manchester United at Old Trafford won’t be that easy as they are unbeaten and have kept a clean sheet in their last 5 games at home in all competitions. And Ten Hag’s men would be looking to take revenge from the Villa side for what happened at the weekend.

So with the added motivation to take revenge and on top ofthat the sensational crowd support that the Red Devils would be receiving might just make things difficult for Unai Emery. All in all, it would be a game to watch out for.
