Manchester United to sign Antony for 100 Million Euros

According to widespread reports in the English media, Manchester United have agreed on a deal with Ajax to sign their star man Antony. This has been a transfer saga that’s been going on for the past few months cause Ajax were very reluctant to sell the Brazilian and they had even rejected several bids from the Red Devils for him.

But recently the player officially stated that he wanted to leave and was trying everything possible to join United. It is believed that the Premier League side will sign the very talented and top-class winger at an astronomical amount of 100 Million Euros.

Antony has really pushed for this move to happen cause he even refused to play for them in their very recent match so this certainly shows the will of the player. It is expected that this deal might be formally completed in 3-4 days and then the Brazilian would arrive for his medicals.

He is a player that Erik Ten Hag wanted desperately in his team in order to rebuild United. His signings are already making an impact with the likes of Eriksen, Malacia and Lisandro Martinez who has won the man of the match twice in a row. United already signed Casemiro who is the alternative of De Jong and they were even going to buy Gapko who was the alternative of Antony, but now indeed they agreed this deal which is surely beneficial for them.

Some United supporters believed that their club have overplayed for Antony cause Bayern bought in Mane for just 30 Million and Barcelona bought in Raphinha for 55 Million so it would be interesting to see if the Brazilian could rise up to the expectations that he has created and justify the price tag. He is entering the prime years of his career and Ten Hag has the opportunity to unleash his true potential and showcase his abilities to the world in the Premier League which is the best league in the world. And if the player can perform good and scores a lot of goals, he could even make the starting 11 for the Brazilian squad at the World Cup which is just around the corner.
