Manchester United looking to sign Christian Pulisic on loan

Pulisic To Manchester United

According to widespread reports in the English media, Manchester United are studying the possibility to sign Chelsea’s and USA’s forward Christian Pulisic.

The Red Devils are more interested in agreeing on a deal which is of a season-long loan with an option to buy after the end of the loan spell.

They know they won’t be having any problems convincing the US International, as the winger is keen to leave Thomas Tuchel’s side this summer because of not getting enough minutes to play.

And the main reason why Pulisic wants to leave the club is because the World Cup is just around the corner and he wishes to be in sensational form so that he can contribute a lot to his National side and try to take them as far as possible in the tournament.

Christian Pulisic to Manchester United

Christian sees Old Trafford as an ideal destination cause he knows that they are in a rebuild situation and don’t have many attacking options. Hence there he might get many opportunities under Ten Hag to improve his form and get back to scoring goals which he hasn’t done recently.

But the Red Devils aren’t the only club looking to sign him as Spanish giants Atletico Madrid and Premier League team Newcastle too are interested to sign the winger. Pulisic has a range of clubs in the race to him mainly because of his versatility across the forward line as he can play on both the flanks and sometimes he can be used as a striker and maybe even a False-9.

Pulisic is just 23 years old which means that he is entering the prime years of his career and Ten Hag could take advantage of this by transforming his qualities to another level and make him of one the best players in the world.

But Chelsea do have a potential risk as if they loan a player like Christian to a direct Premier League rival like Manchester United, it could backfire on them cause the player could perform outstandingly well and take United above Tuchel’s team in the points table. All in all, the transfer window shuts down within 2 weeks, so both of these clubs might need to find an agreement soon.
