Manchester City plotting a summer move to sign Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton, know details

It is now widely believed in the English media that the defending Premier League champions Manchester City are interested to sign the World Cup-winning midfielder Alexis Mac Allister this summer transfer window. This is because Pep Guardiola is looking forward to a midfield rebuild at the club with Ikay Gundogan reaching the expiry of his contract and even Bernado Silva is likely to leave the team.

Hence, if this duo departs Guardiola has work to do in the transfer market with several high-profile targets already being mentioned. And Mac Allister is at the forefront of those targets as for the past 2 seasons, he has been simply phenomenal for Brighton and this term he has outperformed himself cause due to his impressive performances, he even got selected to play for Argentina in the World Cup. His ability to play in the midfield was clearly seen on the biggest stage as he was a key part of the South American side for their World Cup triumph.

Manchester City to sign Mac Allister

Since his return, many of the top European elites are looking to get his signature with the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham, Juventus and many more. Alexis has also played in a lot of positions during his time with the Seagulls and this versatility could make him an extremely useful player for Guardiola.

But signing Mac Allister won’t be that easy cause it is reported that he is valued at 40 Million Euros and given that many clubs are interested in him, Brighton could simply enforce a bidding war to jack up the price. Hence, it is very important for Manchester City to convince Alexis to join them, cause the will of the player could change things in the deal. All in all, there is no doubt that the Argentine is ready for Champions League football and play week in and week out.
