French club Lyon contact Christian Pulisic over a potential move. The American star is eager to find a new challenge away from Stamford Bridge.

The 24-year-old joined Chelsea in a €64million move from Borussia Dortmund in 2019. However, he has struggled for minutes in recent seasons.

With Chelsea aiming to sell players this summer, Pulisic is among the players who will leave the club. Lyon have also made him their primary target for this summer.

The French outfit contacted Pulisic, and they believe they can secure his services for a bargain fee of €20 million.

The winger has also attracted interest from Serie A and some Premier League clubs as well. His agents have also offered him to Man United and Newcastle United. However, both the clubs have declined their interest for him.

The USA International scored 11 goals in his first season at Chelsea, but his contributions have gradually fallen away since then, starting just eight league games last season.

In an interview with ESPN, Pulisic said, “It’s absolutely a time where I need to figure out what’s going to be best for my future.

I want to be somewhere where I can go and play and be trusted and feel good about what I’m doing. I want to find that joy at club level again, for sure.”
