Jasprit Bumrah shares cryptic message on Instagram after critics call him out for missing T20 World Cup

Jasprit Bumrah is all set to miss out on another major ICC event. He is said to have suffered a back injury ahead of the T20 World Cup and is ruled out of the tournament.

Following this incident there was a lot of hate circulated on the internet regarding the bowler. Many people called him out on how he managed to get injured ahead of major tournaments.

Earlier the bowler had to be excluded from Asia Cup 2022 due to a back injury. And despite playing just one game in the Australian series he was ruled out.

Now the reports are claiming that the player was suffering from a back injury. Although it’s nothing serious, it seems that he will still have to sit out for another 3-4 months.

This has left the fans fuming over the recent run of fitness of the pace bowler. They are quick to point out that Bumrah managed to play 14 games for Mumbai Indians in IPL 2022. But has only managed to play 15 game for his country across all formats.

Bumrah’s message to critics

Bumrah might have been a silent player on the field, but he decided to hit back on his haters on the internet. And he did so by sharing a cryptic message through his story on Instagram.

The 28-year-old shared a quote by Winston Churchill that read, “you will never reach your destination if you stop and throw stones at every dog that barks.”

Entire nation is unhappy with Bumrah missing out. But none can be more affected than the bowler himself. After the reports of him missing out surfaced online Bumrah shared a message on the internet that read:

“I am gutted that I won’t be a part of the T20 World Cup this time, but thankful for the wishes, care and support I’ve received from my loved ones. As I recover, I’ll be cheering on the team through their campaign in Australia.”

Everyone is hoping for the bowler to return to fitness at the earliest.
