ICC shares image of Virat Kohli after India’s victory against Pakistan, captions it as “King is back”

There is not doubt in the fact that Virat Kohli has announced his comeback to form in the recent matches. And he sealed this fact with an emphatic knock of 82* against Pakistan, in opening fixture of T20 World Cup 2023 in Australia.

ICC is quick to recognize that and they posted a poster of him of the same as well.

It was a very important inning that came at a time when India wanted it the most.

The Indian team was languishing for 31 for 4 in just 6.1 overs.

Virat Kohli with Hardik Pandya knitted a partnership of 105 runs to take India over the line.

While at one hand, India had scored just 45 off their 10 overs.

ICC announces King Kohli’s return to form

And Virat Kohli scored 48 off the last three overs to take India to an empathic victory.

Following this victory ICC posted a photo of Kohli sitting on the throne. They captioned the image as “King is back… Take a Bow Virat Kohli.”

There should be no doubt in anyone’s mind that Virat Kohli is surely back to regain his throne.

However, the poster by ICC might be met with some backlash. Just like it did the last time they posted something like this.

Yes, ICC once earlier posted Virat Kohli as the King of Cricket. And this poster was met with severe backlash by the likes of Michael Vaughn and other cricket pundits.

It doesn’t matter what other peoples might say. Today Virat Kohli has proven that he has been bestowed the crown of King for a reason.
