Harry Kane will join Bayern Munich from Tottenham Hotspurs for €100m

Tottenham and England striker Harry Kane will join Bayern Munich for a fixed fee of €100 million plus add-ons up to €20 million. He will sign a four year contract with the Bavarians.

Kane was informed that both clubs have reached an agreement and it was up to him, whether he wants to stay or leave the club. Kane has now made a decision to leave his boyhood club and join the Bundesliga champions this summer.

The 30-year-old is expected to wear the No 9 shirt for Bayern Munich. Moreover, he was on his way to airport this morning when he was told to not fly. So, currently he is at a family home near the airport waiting for permission to fly.

Rumours are that Spurs wanted to make changes in the deal and that’s why Kane had to wait. However, new sources say that the deal is still in place and nothing has been changed.

Both clubs reached an agreement after some tough negotiations as Spurs were not willing to let Kane leave. However, even after reaching an agreement it was reported that Kane wanted to stay at Spurs. The striker was enjoying his time with new manager Ange Postecoglou.

But, now he has decided to leave and compete for trophies with Bayern, as this might be his only chance to claim some silverware. Kane was hesitant to move as he wanted the deal to be completed before their first Premier League game against Brentford.

The England striker has scored 213 goals in 320 Premier League games. He is currently 48 goals off breaking Alan Shearer’s record as the highest scorer in Premier League history.

Moreover, he scored 30 Premier League goals last season in a disappointing campaign for Spurs. They also finished eighth and missed out on European football.

Harry Kane will now start a new journey in Germany with Bayern Munich.
