“Everything is fine,” tweets Ravindra Jadeja after CSK retains him for IPL 2023

The Ravindra Jadeja saga has finally come to an end. The player has been retained by the Chennai Super Kings side. And he confirmed that the mood of the camp is good by a social media post.

Ever since the completion of IPL 2022, there were rumors about Ravindra Jadeja’s fallout with Chennai Super Kings. A franchise he had represented over the decade.

Ravindra Jadeja hinted on a reunification with a post on his twitter handle. Jadeja uploaded a photo of himself bowing to MS Dhoni. He further captioned the post as “Everything is fine” and used hastag “#RESTART”

The player was made the captain of the side. And then removed from the position after a humiliating start to their campaign. Following this, Jadeja was ruled out of the tournament with an injury.

And Chennai Super Kinds ended the season in the bottom half of the table.

After the competition of IPL, it was reported that Jadeja has cut all his ties with CSK.

Even the management of the team had stated that they have not heard from the player since his departure from the team mid-season, due to an injury.

Hence, everyone was keen as well as sceptic over the future of the player in the team.

There were even reports about teams approaching Chennai for a trade. But the four-time champions turned down any bid for their star allrounder.

The suspense amounted to nothing when Chennai announced their squad ahead of the mini auction.

Chennai Super Kings along with the other 9 IPL teams announced their retained squad for the upcoming season of IPL.

And the world was surprised to see them include Ravindra Jadeja in the list of retained players alongside MS Dhoni and Ambati Rayudu.

Like their arch rivals, Mumbai Indians, Chennai also made some tough decisions. They dropped their best all rounder of all time Dwayne Bravo, along with Jordan, and Milne.
