It is widely believed in the English media that Erik Ten Hag has held a secret meeting with the agent of one of the finest footballers in the world and that player is none other than Marco Reus.
Now Reus is in the final stages of his contract at Borussia Dortmund as his deal is going to expire with the Bundesliga side in the summer of 2023 and so he’ll leave as a free agent.

Ten Hag, who is at the forefront of Manchester United’s rebuild, has to improve his attacking quality in the side after thier club legend Cristiano Ronaldo left recently.
And Reus is a player who can undoubtedly change the clinical level in front of goal as he has been an incredible winger over the past decade for both club and country.

But if the interest in the German forward is very concrete then the Red Devils should carefully look at Marco’s injury record as over the years he has suffered many injuries which have not been good for him or the team that he plays for.
In this season in particular he has only managed to make nine Bundesliga appearances for Dortmund. He has registered just two goals and provided two assists in that time.
However, it cannot be ruled out that on his day he can single-handedly decide the result of the match by his sensational quality. And due to his amazing gameplay, many of the top European elites are interested to sign him.
Hence United to make a decision soon about him and if possible sign a pre-contract with him so that they sign him on a free transfer. All in all, if he joins, Reus surely has the potential to create a legacy at Old Trafford.
