Previously, the record was held by the Universe boss Chris Gayle, but Ishan Kishan surpassed him by 12 balls. However, the hunger for more got him eyeing something even bigger.
Not much ago, Ishan Kishan had missed out on his maiden international century. Playing against South Africa, Ishan got to a quick 93 on his home ground. However, the young boy had to settle for less that day. But now, not only he has a hundred but a double hundred in his name.

Kishan mentioned that with the 15 overs left he could have scored a 300 too. With the strike rate at which Kishan was hitting the ball, no wonder why he was eyeing on something bigger.
