Champions League Quarter-Final Draw: Chelsea v Real Madrid, Man City v Bayern Munich

Chelsea are all set to face the defending champions of the Champions League, Real Madrid in the quarter-finals.

Pep Guardiola and his Manchester City are also playing the six-time winners of the tournament Bayern Munich, which is also Guardiola’s former club.

Serie A giants, Inter Milan are all set to face Benfica, while the champions of the Serie A, AC Milan will be going head into the clash against current toppers, Napoli.

In case either Chelsea or Manchester City are successfully through, the semi-finale would be a grand all-Premier League one, or in the different scenario, either AC Milan or Napoli would be facing Inter Milan or Benfica, with a possibility of Milan derby.

Champions League quarterfinals and semifinals dates

The first leg of the quarter finals are all set to be taking place on the April 11-12, while the return matches will be taking place on 18 or 19 April, 2023.

After the completion of the quarterfinals, the semi-finale of the Champions League will be taking place on 9-10 May, and the second legs would be soon following on 16-17 May.

The grand finale and final showdown of the Champions League will be hosted in the Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul, Turkey on 10th June 2023.

Manchester City and Bundesliga giants, Bayern have never met in a competitive match ever since 2014 when Bayern was led by Guardiola.

However, Chelsea and Real Madrid will be meeting in the third-successive season. The record breaking 14 time winners, Madrid would like to continue their winning streak.
