Bayern Munich Submit €70 million bid for Harry Kane

Bundesliga outfit Bayern Munich Submit €70 million bid for Tottenham’s Harry Kane. The German club is looking to beat Man United in the race for the striker.

Harry Kane has emerged as the favorite option for Bayern, as Tomas Tuchel also want Kane to lead the attack next season.

They have offered €70 million plus add-ons for the English striker. However, it is believed that the English outfit have already rejected the offer, as they want over €100 million for Kane.

Bayern’s opening bid of €70 million does show that they have a strong desire to bring Kane as their number one striker. They will now continue to take steps to complete this deal.

Moreover, Manchester United are have their hands tied for now due to takeover issues. Kane has also been open to a move to Real Madrid and PSG in order to fulfil a move away from Spurs to win silverware.

After joining Tottenham’s academy back in July, 2009. Since his first team debut, he has scored 280 goals in 435 appearances across all competitions.

However, it remains to be seen whether the English striker is open to a move away from Spurs, as he is only 47 goals behind Alan Shearer in the all-time Premier League scorers list. And, He has openly admitted that he wants to set a new competition record.

To make matters worse for Bayern, they also sacked Julian Nagelsmann mid-season. They were having a good season, but after Nagelsmann’s sacking they lost to Man City in the Champions League. They were also on the verge of loosing the league title to Dortmund.

Kane is now on holiday after starring for England, and is due to report back to Spurs for pre-season in mid-July. By that time, his future should be far clearer, with Bayern now in pole position to secure his signature.
