Bayern Munich ‘reach agreement’ to sign Harry Kane from Tottenham

Bayern Munich ‘reach agreement’ to sign star striker Harry Kane in a deal worth over €100 million. After failing with three bids for the England captain, Bayern have finally convinced Daniel Levy to sell Kane.

According to The Athletic’s David Ornstein, after a protracted summer of negotiations, Spurs have agreed to sell Kane to Bayern for a fee of more than €100m.

Will Kane leave Spurs to join Bayern this summer?

So, now its over to Kane, and he must decide if he wants to stay or leave the club to start a new journey in his career. Although Kane was desperate to leave Spurs a few weeks ago, but now it seems like its not yet clear if he wants to leave his boyhood club.

Kane is into the final 12 months of his Spurs contract. Moreover, he has been enjoying working with new manager Ange Postecoglou and was hoping his future would be resolved before the club kick-off their season against Brentford on Sunday.

However, it remains to be seen whether he makes a move and increases his chances of winning silverware at Bayern. But, if he stays at Spurs, they will be hoping to convince him to sign a new contract rather than potentially losing him on a free transfer next summer.

If the deal goes through, it will be a big boost for the Bundesliga champions and will solve their striker issue. Bayern also shortlisted Dusan Vlahovic, Kolo Muani and Victor Osimhen to reinforce their attack.

But now, after some tough negotiations, they have finally settled on Kane. Moreover, Daniel Levy has accepted the offer to end this exhausting saga.

It’s still unclear if the latest news will mean that the 30-year-old is unavailable for selection against Brentford in the Premier League.
